Local spirits from Wild Life Distillery in Canmore and Park Distillery in Banff are the centrepiece for many of Mount Engadine’s drinks. The Park Gin Refresher combines the mountain-inspired gin with Campari, grapefruit juice, lemon juice and simple syrup, garnished with basil leaves. The Bramble includes Park Gin, Chambord, lemon juice and simple syrup, garnished with blackberries.
If beer and cider is more your style, Mount Engadine sources all of their brews locally. Try award-winning beer from Canmore Brewing Company, or something unique from Blindman Brewing from Lacombe or Marda Loop Brewing out of Calgary. The local flavours will combine the taste of the mountains for a complete sensory experience.
As the weather chills, warm up with a specialty hot drink. These toasty toppers are perfect after a day of exploring the outdoors. The Climber’s Coffee has Bailey’s, coffee and whipped cream, while the Hiker’s Hot Chocolate also includes Bailey’s for an extra toasty pick-me-up. The classic Hot Toddy is the most popular warm up drink, with Buffalo Trace Bourbon, lemon and honey.
No matter what the weather decides to do this season, Mount Engadine Lodge is the perfect place to get out and explore the beauty of the Canadian Rockies. After your adventure, warm up with local drinks, good food and a great atmosphere – only at Mount Engadine Lodge!
