We ordered our morning coffee and selected some treats from the friendly barista. I sipped on my seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte, sweet but not sickly, with Wildflour signature espresso flavour popping through. Scott had an Americano, significantly stronger than mine but equally well executed.

We sat in the bustling café, awaiting our goodies while people watching from the bar seating along large glass windows.

As we hadn’t eaten breakfast, I opted for the Crumble – mixed fruit and almond topping in a choice of steamed milk. The fruit was tart but the topping sweet, a nice breakfast that would be perfect for curling up with a book.

Scott went for the Gourmet Grilled Cheese; on crisp buttery house made bread it is an excellent twist on the classic.

However, I couldn’t leave without my favourite go-tos, so a Raspberry White Chocolate Scone and a Ginger Cookie somehow found their way into my order.

Wildflour is a local favourite, both for the warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as for the delicious baked goods and signature espressos.
