The restaurants in the Canadian Rockies are following the strictest guidelines set down by the government. They’re exceeding the standards for safety to allow you to enjoy a scrumptious meal during your visit to the charming mountain towns. From added plexiglass to socially distanced tables and waiters with the highest levels of hygiene, it’s time to eat!

For a classic Banff experience that’s been enjoyed for generations, stop by Grizzly House and treat yourself to an exotic fondue. Visit the Vermillion Room or 1888 Chop House at the Fairmont Banff Springs and be treated like royalty.

In Canmore, try fine dining with stunning mountain views at The Sensory or enjoy a true taste of place with Chef Tracy Little’s culinary creations at Tapas. Enjoy fine food with a friendly atmosphere at Murrieta’s or get off the beaten path and dine on quality, contemporary meals at Table Food + Drink.

Enjoy the best seafood in Jasper at Fiddle River or dine on traditional Korean recipes at Kimchi House. Delight your taste buds with creations from Orso Trattoria at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge or surprise yourself with great food and a friendly atmosphere at The Inn Grill. Want to keep it casual? Meet the locals at the Whistle Stop Pub.

    Take it to Go

Not comfortable dining in a restaurant? Not a problem! The Canadian Rockies have plenty of restaurants that offer takeaway options, so you can enjoy your dinner in your own space.

In Canmore, get healthy, small batch meals and treats from local’s favourite, An Edible Life. For classic curries you can take home and cook yourself, check out Mad Dog Café in the Shops of Canmore. Rocky Mountain Bagel Co. has day-old bagels for sale, and they have ready-made snacks and treats to keep you going on your winter adventure.

Craving ice cream? It’s not just a summer treat! Enjoy more flavours than you can imagine at Cows. Get a taste of N’Awlins at Tooloulou’s, now offering curbside pickup. Warm up with a specialty coffee and homemade baking to go at Whitebark Café or Wild Flour Bakery. In Lake Louise, get a made-to-order sandwich and delicious brew at Javalanche Café.

In Jasper, take home some delicious waffles from Jasper Wafflato. Get your fresh baking fix at Coco’s Café, which is takeout only during the pandemic.

    Get it Delivered

If you’re already inside and warming up from making the most of winter, or you’re still in your PJs because it’s winter and it’s cold, delivery is a great option! Many restaurants are offering delivery during the pandemic, and they’re using contact-free methods to ensure everyone’s safety.

Get Banff’s favourite Chinese food delivered from Silver Dragon, or choose from over 40 restaurants in Banff and Canmore with ToGo Canada.

Get groceries, ready-made meals and meaty kits from Canmore’s local deli, Valbella’s Gourmet Foods. They deliver to Banff, Canmore, Calgary and Cochrane. In town, try the international flavours of Blake or Canadian woodhouse cuisine from The Iron Goat delivered to your door.

In Jasper, dine on the authentic Greek cuisine from Something Else or the delightful flavours of China from Jasper China Restaurant. Call Lou Lou’s Pizzeria for a classic slice or a real poutine.

No matter where you’re travelling, the Canadian Rockies have excellent dining options. So dine in for an extraordinary experience, take home for great food in your own space, or sit back, relax and get it delivered! Where are you eating tonight?
